Note that the recent volcanic activity in Iceland is not causing any issues with arriving and departing from Iceland.
All regular tours and activities are operating as scheduled with the exception of Blue Lagoon visits and Reykjanes tours. The volcanic activity is limited to an area on the Reykjanes peninsula, with no effects on the capital area or other areas in Iceland.

Northern Lights Private Tour in Super Jeep – Local Expert Guide – With Photos

We are Professional Northern Lights Hunters. Our small and personal tours are designed to make you feel like you had a friend in Iceland who just happens to be a Northern Lights expert.

We pick you up and whisk you away from the city lights to where we predict the best sightings according to extensive monitoring of forecasts and various weather data, including satellite images and real time geomagnetic measurements.

This is a private tour allowing us to get off the beaten path and away from the crowds to enjoy the Northern Lights in serenity.

Our vehicles are heavily modified 4x4's, Land Rover Defenders and Nissan Patrols, making sure we can go where needed.

Our itinerary depends on weather and location is always chosen according to cloud cover. On this private tour we can make sure to meet your itinerary needs as well.

Please make sure you dress warmly. It will be cold standing outside under the Icelandic midnight sky. We recommend layers of thick and windproof clothing, woollen socks and warm shoes, gloves and headwear. See our full clothing guide here:

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and displays, or their magnitude, can never be guaranteed. We base our Go/No Go decision on cloud cover and geomagnetic forecasts and only go out when forecasts indicate a high chance of visible Northern Lights. Low level lights count as sightings. Under no circumstances will there be a refund, in full or partial, for a Non-sightings tour.
